As a former kog rouge player (vamp+goldenlord) all i can say is the game either u have a deck that can intergrate a decent amount of hand traps to prevent enemy full board combo or a second turn sure win deck with the usual dark ruler no more and lava golem/kaijus or my style go full zombie grass look greener with eldritch vamp so u will have too much activation for anyone to fully negate and also the longer the round goes the stronger u get.

At least you drew a decent hand, its not like the game matched you up against an endless stream of players, that didn't care about specific combinations of going 2nd cards, and hand traps, and then the game gives you a hand of nothing but those specific combinations of hand traps/going 2nd cards, and the 1-2 garnets you have to run single copies of, especially when you also run the actual counters to the decks they're running, and 10+ starters, and you only ever get the good going 2nd cards when you go first, for the good going 1st cards when going 2nd. Ya I rank down in that event we just hand, ranked back up, got 1 duel away from ranking up again, then got demoted twice with no wins, because the game is a piece of b******t. Didn't matter what deck i tried it was literally the same thing every duel with a hand full of nothing but the max c package, some hand traps that did literally nothing, and the few garnets in each deck for 8+ duels straight. #### you Konami, if I ever hop on your garbage game again, I'm building the 1 bad day deck, and dragging out every duel an extra 10 minutes even if I'm winning. This isn't the first time I've had this happen to me, its the 5th or 6th. Getting the 1 single copy of whatever Garnet my deck currently run in my starting hand 7+ duels straight, multiple times over a few months is ridiculous, especiallywhen I lose rank due to it, because literally any other card would have won that duel.

Was playing a bad Eldlich brew activate GRaWC on my opponent's turn call Accesscode banish it.They play something I forget what that lets me add a card in grave to hand I pick GRaWC play it again and hit their Baronne. They rage and proceed to surrender calling me a slew of insults and I just smile and bye bye.

I would love to play the new, meta relevant version of Weather Painters. But fow now, I will just hope Konami prints more support. Unironically, if the deck had 1 or 2 more good cards, the deck could actually work. It just needs a little more consistency/an extender. I like playing rogue because its fun to me. A lot of my friends or people at locals play rogue so with a majority of my sample size playing optimized rogue more often than meta, makes it a lot more fun since the power levels of the decks are similar

Roque decks dying has the most to do with powercreep. For example, exosisters could have been a roque deck during tearlaments formats. But the fact exosister had many restrictions to make it balanced, and tearlaments had pretty much none, did a lot more against it being a roque deck then the divide in player quality.
